The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. The Mid-America Chapter is currently hiring a full-time Fundraising Campaign Specialist to work at our Wichita KS office. Responsibilities will include working on the Student Series service-learning program/fundraiser and performing other duties as assigned. Summary of Position: Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Grant Writer/Communications Specialist will research grant opportunities that match the goals and objectives of KPTS Channel 8. The Grant Writer will gather information from various departments and coordinate, write and submit grant proposals to various funding entities including local, state, and federal government funders, as well as various corporations and foundations that supply grant dollars. The Salina Art Center seeks an energetic and experienced director of institutional advancement to lead the Art Center’s development program. This position reports to and works closely with the executive director to develop strategies to insure the Art Center’s future success and sustainability. The director of institutional advancement is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the Art Center’s annual development plan. This includes major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, donor development, grants, membership, fundraising events, corporate sponsorships, and endowment initiatives. This position manages the marketing and membership coordinator and collaborates with other administrative staff to accomplish these responsibilities.
